What is Traditional Mesotherapy?

Mesotherapy is a medical technique first devised in the 1950s by a Frenchman called Dr Michel Pistor. It involves the micro-injection of specially prepared active ingredients, injected directly into the skin cell.
Mesotherapy was initially used to treat such conditions as rheumatism, sports injuries, and for the improvement of blood circulation, but is now used successfully world-wide by medical practitioners for various cosmetic conditions, including skin rejuvenation, hair re-growth, localised fat reduction, and as a treatment for cellulite.
Even though Mesotherapy is an incredibly effective treatment many people are not comfortable with the concept of multiple injections as they can often cause bruising and soreness, so aesthetics manufacturers like ourselves have sought ways to offer a no-needle alternative.

No Needle Mesotherapy

By using the Ultra Sonic technology on the Cryoderm along side the new Aesthetic Mesotherapy Product range we are able to offer our clients a professional no needle Mesotherapy treatment.
Ultra sound acts as a delivery mechanism for the active ingredients, pushing product through the dermal layers of the skin without the use of a needle. In turn it will temporarily allow the cell membranes to become permeable allowing the cell to absorb the vital nutrients contained within each active ingredient.

Inspired by the MesoBotox treatment, this solution combines two ingredients to achieve a non-toxic Botox effect. It will reduce and prevent emotional lines by inhibiting muscle contractions.

Argirline is an Acetyl Hexapeptide-3, which means it is a chain of 6 amino acids. This unique peptide is incredibly effective in decreasing the development of existing expression lines.

This solution is a non-toxic, safer and milder form alternative to Botulinum Toxin, but can have similar results as it targets the same wrinkle formations but in a very different way.

Hylaronic Acid - Is already present throughout the connective tissue in our bodies, as we get older the level of HA reduces. This reduction is a big part of the ageing process, causing loss of elasicity in the skin which manifests itself as fine lines and wrinkles.
HA fills the space between our collagen and elastin fibres, the main role of Hylaronic acid is to provide a mechanism of transport for essential nutrients from the bloodstream to pass to the cells. It will also hydrate the skin by holding in water and is key to dermis renewal and the elimination of harmful compounds found in the skin.

Dexpathenol - Is also called Pro-Vitamin B5 and is naturally present in our skin and hair. And is part of the Coenzyme A, which is an essential part of the structure and regeneration of the Epitelial Lipids. Topical Dexpathenol acts like a moisturiser, improving the stratum corneum hydration by reducing water loss and maintaining skin softness and elasticity. Beneficial effects of Dexpathenol have been observed with patients who have scar treatment, therapy for burns as it can act as a calming agent.

Dexpathenol is essential for our tissue to function normally. When it is applied to our skin and hair it is quickly converted to its bioactive form Vitamin B5, which will accelrate call regeneration. This regeneration process will help to repair damaged tissue improving the overall look and feel of the skin.

DNA - Can be found in the cell nucleus of all living things and is the origin of the genertic code. It has been observed that DNA has the power to restore cells, reconstructing the connective tissue by stimulating the scaring process.

DMAE - Is used to produce a lifting effect, and it is a natural compound found in our body. The effects of DMAE result in the stimulation of the fibroblast membrane receptors. It also has various anti radical properties that will repair the protein cross-linking (E.G Collagen, Elastin)

When using DMAE it can cause a combination of actions at different levels such as tension of the dermal non muscle cells, Displacement of Keratinocytes, Hydration, Elasticity of the stratum corneum, Better nutrition, Improved skin defences, Antioxidisation and Skin unification. Retinal A - Works as an antioxidant on the skin, it will disperse free radicals that can cause tissue and cellular damage. When using, fine lines and wrinkles are gradually smoothed, moisture and elasticity will improve and sun damage is diminished. It will increase cell turnover and increase collagen to give a more youthful appearance.
Vitamin A plays an important role in RNA synthesis which produces new and healthy cells. The epidermis is very sensitive to vitamin A deficiencies since the basal layer continually generates new cells that become the protective barrier. As a result of these deficiencies the cells will prematurely die, harden and block the oil sacs/pores. Retinal will exfoliate and unclog these pores. Vitamin A has also shown beneficial effects in controlling acne, psoriasis and helping to reverse the visible signs of ageing.

Vitamin E - First of all, because of its antioxidant activity, vitamin E is vital in protecting skin cells from ultra violet light, pollution, drugs, and other elements that produce cell damaging free radicals. Vitamin E also contributes to a healthy circulatory system and aids in effective blood clotting and improves wound healing.

Vitamin P - Is not a vitamin in the true sense of the word. More commonly known by the name of Bioflavonoids, it comprises a number of different ingredients, which include hesperin, hesperidin, eriodictyol, quercetin, quercertrin, rutin etc. It cannot be produced internally in the body and has to be supplemented by diet. As it is a water-soluble companion of ascorbic acid, vitamin P keeps the blood vessels healthy and aids the absorption of vitamin C.

Vitamin C - Is required for the synthesis of collagen, and is an important structural component of blood vessels, tendons, ligaments and bones.
In addition, Vitamin C is required in the production of carnitine, which is a small molecule that is essential for the transportation of fat to cellular organisms called the Mitochondria, for conversion to energy.
It is vital to the dermal construction, stimulating collagen and gene regulation. Vitamin C is also necessary to form Lysyl Hydroxylase, which is an enzyme necessary to cross link one collagen molecule to another, providing tissue strength.
